A plucky orphan named Annie lives in a harsh 1930s New York City orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie's infectious optimism helps her win the heart of billionaire Oliver Warbucks. While Warbucks attempts to find her parents, Annie and her new friends uncover a scheme by Miss Hannigan.
